Analyte review
Use this when you follow one compound across every sample.
Navigate
Select the analyte in Results, or filter the navigator to one analyte group or one analyte name. Result details and the chromatogram follow the selection. Turn on Overlay on the samples you want drawn together.
View → Calibration shows that analyte’s curve for the bracket of the sample you are on. Change sample and the bracket follows when the batch is in Bracket mode. See Bracketing.
Settings that belong to the analyte
Edit these in Method → Edit method…:
- Quants and qualifiers — Method, Qualifiers
- Expected RT and time window — Peak identification
- Curve fit, origin, and weight — Calibration curves
- Doses — Doses
- Limits — the limit is per limit group and analyte name, in Limit groups, not a single number on the analyte alone. See Limit groups.
Update → Selection writes retention time, qualifier ratios, or the stored spectrum from the samples you are reviewing. Update → All analytes does the same for every analyte. See Retention time update, Qualifiers, and Spectra update.
Reports and exports
Defined reports and exports can target Compound, which writes one file per analyte. A sheet can also list every sample for the current compound with Q.Compound and Q.Samples. Key Review uses Q.KeyCompound so each sample key contributes one result. See Report templates and Array functions.
The calibration chart for a report cell is Q.VCalibration. The chromatogram is Q.VCompound.
