Charts
Charts are the chromatograms, spectra, and calibration curves in the results views, in Compound Discovery, and in report cells. Zoom and pan are the chart gestures (wheel and drag). A drag that is marked as a range selection fills the Compound Discovery From and To times and can commit a manual baseline.
Chromatograms
The result chromatogram is the extracted ion (or MRM trace) for the quant, with the qualifier traces when you open them. The sample TIC is the total signal. In Compound Discovery the top chart is the TIC, and discovered compounds are overlaid as reconstructed traces. Existing analytes draws retention-time markers for analytes already in the method.
SCAN, SIM, and MRM checkboxes choose which source is shown. They are not added together.
Overlay on a sample includes that sample when chromatograms are drawn together.
The peak is filled to its baseline. The effective area threshold can be drawn across the plot. Turn that line on or off under Field appearance in Grid configuration (Threshold (effective)). Ignore threshold zoom keeps the zoom from jumping to that line.
Spectra
Spectrum cells show the measured sticks. The method reference spectrum can be overlaid. In Compound Discovery the detail spectrum is the component spectrum, and the menu can copy it as text. Library comparison uses the hit list (Match, RMatch, Prob, PBM %) beside that spectrum. See Library search. A head-to-tail mirror is the overlay of the reference on the measured spectrum in that spectrum chart, not a separate window.
Calibration
View → Calibration is the curve for the current analyte and bracket: points, the fit, and the residuals stored on the points (relative residual, and the maximum relative residual on the bracket). Report cells use Q.VCalibration. See Calibration curves.
QC results are points you review in the results grid. There is no separate QC trend chart.
Manual integration and the menu
Dragging a new baseline on the chromatogram commits a manual integration. The automatic peak is kept so you can compare or reset it. See Integration.
The chart menu includes Copy as graphic. Report charts (Q.VSample, Q.VCompound, Q.VQualifier, Q.VCalibration) are interactive while you design and are written as pictures when you export.
Settings
Per-chart options that Quanto exposes in Grid configuration are the field-appearance switches (threshold line, threshold zoom, TIC zoom including the TIC, the compounds, and the labels). Axis titles and number formats follow Settings → Formats… and the chart’s own axis. Zoom on spectrum cells in a column stays in step across the rows of that column.
