Method Validation
Method-wide curves, recoveries, and limit flags after Analyze.
After Analyze, Method Validation is the pane that looks at the method and batch as a whole — curves, recoveries, and limit flags — not only one selected sample.
When to open it
- You finished Analyze and want a single place to see whether the method is fit for this batch.
- You changed Origin, Blank corr, CalGroup, or limits and need a quick re-check.
- You are comparing recoveries across Calibration / QC bottles before releasing results.
Day-to-day single-peak work still lives on Results, chromatograms, and the calibration plot. Method Validation does not replace those views.
What you typically review

Layout
You can dock Method Validation like any other pane and save it in a .qtl layout. Layout Priority controls which saved layout wins when several presets compete — see Workspace and layouts.
Workflow
- Configure limits and CalGroups on the method (Method design, CalGroup & standard addition).
- Analyze.
- Open Method Validation and scan flags / recoveries.
- Clear bad cal points or fix doses / types, then Analyze again.
- Export reports when the validation picture is acceptable (Reports, import, and export).
