Workspace and layouts
Default.qtl, dockable panels, limited shortcuts, Shift splash.
Docking layouts, shipped presets, and the few keyboard gestures that exist in the shell.
Layout files
| Location | Role |
|---|---|
C:\Program Files\Quanto\Layouts\Default.qtl |
Factory workspace preset |
%LOCALAPPDATA%\Quanto\Layouts\... |
Live docking, presets, autosaves for MainWindow and MethodEditor |
A .qtl is a zip of docking layout plus Fast grid JSON. Drop a .qtl onto Quanto to apply it. Layouts do not contain results. Folder map: Installation and folders.
Dockable panels
The main shell uses dockable panels (samples, results, chromatograms, reports, method tables, and so on). Save a comfortable arrangement as a user preset under Local AppData; reset toward Default.qtl when needed.
Grid column fill, sort, freeze, and navigator: Grids.
Keyboard / shortcuts
A search of the WPF host did not find a general KeyBinding shortcut map for the main shell. Day-to-day UI is menu / ribbon / toolbar driven.
Known gestures:
| Gesture | Where | Effect |
|---|---|---|
| Shift during splash | Startup | Recycle settings, layouts, and/or licenses (Recycle Bin) |
| Enter | Find / dialogs | Accept / find (dialog Enter) |
| Ctrl+wheel | FastSettings | UI zoom |
| Report Designer | Designer window | Ctrl+B / I / U / X / C; Ctrl+N / O / S; Ctrl+F3 (designer editing, not the main shell) |
Do not assume undocumented accelerator keys for Analyze, Save, or Key Review.
